Mangal Pandey is a historical biographical drama movie based on the life of Indian soldier Mangal Pandey who played a vital role in sparking the Indian Rebellion of 1857. The movie is based on the life of Sardar Udham Singh. Singh killed Michael O’Dwyer in London to take revenge for the 1919 Jallianwala Bagh massacre in Amritsar.
