‘People send me obituary messages,’ Akshay Kumar on his recent flops

Akshay Kumar opens about his last few box office failures. The actor is touring to promote his upcoming black comedy movie, Khel Khel Mein, and finally end his silence over people writing him off due to poor performances at the box office.

The 56-year-old actor said he is not at all worried about all the negative comments as he has a three-decade-old career. 

While promoting ‘Khel Khel Mein’, the actor said that whatever happens, happens for good. He also stated how he receives condolence messages after some flop movies.  “It feels like people are sending me obituary messages, like how people send condolences through messages. One journalist even wrote, ‘You’ll be back’, I called him up and asked, ‘Why are you writing this? What does ‘back’ mean? Where have I gone?’,” Kumar told reporters.

He assures that he will continue to work hard ignoring what people say about him. “In the morning, I wake up, exercise, and leave for work and return home, whatever I earn, I earn on my own. I’ll never snatch anything from anyone. I’ll keep on working till they shoot me down (to stop me from working),” Oh My God-actor said.
